PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
JCC Kids’ Club is a school-based expanded learning program that is an extension of the school day. The program serves to complement and enhance learning through educational, physical, artistic, and social emotional experiences in a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. JCC Kids’ Club provides children the opportunity to expand their learning through enrichment classes, develop meaningful relationships with their teachers, and build community with their peers. The program includes structured outside play, homework support, and plenty of fun activities to complement each child’s school day. Our staff is well trained in communication, conflict management, and lesson planning. They are here to support TK-5th grade student needs whether it be homework support, reading a story, art-making, or playing an energetic game of soccer.
Our program honors student voice and choice with offering various physical activity and enrichment electives Past supervised and structured play and choice time included jewelry making, Dungeons & Dragons, yoga, cooking, herbalism, mindful gems, nature connection, chess, animation, etc. Our program also offers supervised "Chill Time activities" for students who may impacted by over-stimulation.
